• I take full responsibility for getting the Grant of Probate and dealing with the Legal, Tax (excluding VAT), Property and Estate administration affairs on your behalf
• I negotiate with HMRC on your behalf in respect of Gifts to The Nation ‘in lieu’ of Inheritance Tax
• My firm is regulated for Probate by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales

Other Matters

I have professional indemnity insurance in place in accordance with the requirements of ICAEW. My cover is up to a maximum of £500,000 per claim and is capped at this level. In the unlikely event that I cannot meet my liabilities to you, you may be able to seek a grant from ICAEW’s Compensation Scheme. If you are unhappy with the service you are receiving, please let me know. I will consider carefully any complaint that you make about my probate services as soon as I receive it and will do all I can to resolve the issue. Any complaint should be submitted to me by letter.
